We believe in nurturing the whole child through play-based learning that develops social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
From the beginning, there were multiple instances where I walked in and heard teachers screaming at my child or speaking to children in ways that were completely inappropriate. There were also situations that occurred during the day involving my daughter that I was not notified about at all, which is unacceptable as a parent.
My daughter turned three in December, yet she was not fully moved into the three-year-old classroom until February. For nearly two months, she was constantly switched back and forth between classrooms, creating confusion and a lack of consistency for her.
I also witnessed disturbing behavior from staff, Multiple evenings I witnessed the 3 year old teacher yelling telling children they would not be going home with their mom or dad until they cleaned up, resulting in kids crying and becoming visibly upset. I have seen children grabbed or snatched by the arm more than once, and management does take these concerns seriously.
One day, I received an incident report stating he “punched a friend in the face repeatedly, unprovoked.” Outraged, I immediately went to the daycare and demanded the camera footage. My son is only 2.5 years old—he doesn’t even know how to punch, let alone do it repeatedly.
After reviewing the footage, the director admitted that the alleged incident never happened. The children were simply playing and tickling each other while waiting for food. I pulled him out of Lyndon Learning Care immediately.
To make matters worse, our son once came home saying a teacher hit his hand and even demonstrated how.
Be mindful of where you leave your children! (FYI: Camera footage is deleted after 72 hours—request it immediately if needed.)
It's upsetting to think that this is how children are treated, especially in a place meant for their care and development. The workers seem indifferent to how they speak and act in front of onlookers, which raises further concerns about what happens when no one is watching.
I would not recommend this daycare to any parent who wants a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.
Love teaching here.
Leaving a kid at daycare can be scary, and the staff have made us feel so comfortable. They have been great at keeping us informed of our kid’s activity and don’t hesitate to reach out if they have questions about the feeding/ sleep schedule. The staff are kind and friendly, and seem to really care about the kids. 10/10 recommend.
The staff are very attentive and easy to speak with. Communication is 10/10. And any issue we’ve had was resolved quickly.
Would highly recommend!
Grace is prepared for kindergarten.
Could not ask for more.
The level of education she receives along with a great balance of play time has been wonderful. I am also impressed with the food they serve each day! You will never find a heavily-processed meal, rather home cooked meals that encourage the kids to try new foods they might not always eat.
For the rate we pay for the service and love our Daughter receives, this place is a great investment.
